  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of application
  • Have completed a secondary education course that gives eligibility to enter higher education institutions such as universities
  • Be able to cover tuition and living expenses while staying in Japan
  • Be physically and mentally fit and able to comply with Japanese laws and school regulations
  • Be expected to obtain or already have obtained permission to enter Japan through proper procedures
  • Hold JLPT N5 or J-Test F/G 250+ or NAT-TEST Level 5 or TOP-J Beginner A5 or equivalent Japanese ability recognized by immigration authorities
