Classes are conducted using the direct method, focusing on a task-based syllabus to enhance students ability to accomplish tasks and develop their communication skills. Each class is taught by a team of three teachers. Students are from wide range of Asian countries, including China, Vietnam, Nepal and classes are composed of a mix of nationalities.
As a part of career guidance, we host on-school information sessions inviting university and vocational school admissions teachers which provides direct opportunities for interaction. Native-language orientations and life guidance via individual counseling per semester (4 times/year) career planning and daily support.
As part of our annual events, we organize experimental learning at the Ikebukuro Disaster Preparedness Center, school evacuation drills, disaster drills with the Shinjuku Fire Department, crime prevention talks by the Shinjuku Police and year and Educational Trip twice a year and traditional Japanese events like kakizome (calligraphy), Setsubun, Hina Matsuri, and Tanabata.
