Chubu Language Academy

• Completion of 12 years of school education or equivalent
• age 18 or older and generally 30 or younger at admission
• for the 2-year course: at least 150 hours of Japanese study and JLPT N5 or J.TEST F or NAT-TEST 5
• for the 1 year 6 month course: at least 350 hours of Japanese study and JLPT N4 or J.TEST E or NAT-TEST 4
• permitted or expected to be permitted to enter Japan through proper procedures
• have a guarantor in Japan (or a financial supporter in the home country if no such person exists in Japan)
• physically and mentally healthy

• Document screening
• interview with the applicant and financial supporter
