Completed 12+ years of school education (or equivalent) and be age 18+, Have strong study motivation and clear goals, Have Japanese level equivalent to JLPT N5 (October intake: N4), Wish to enter higher education institutions in Japan or live/work in Japan, Submit application form (designated), Submit study reason and post-completion plan, Submit pledge, Submit graduation certificate of final education, Submit academic transcript of final education, Submit proof of enrollment / expected graduation, Submit employment certificate / retirement certificate, Submit proof of Japanese ability (original pass certificate + score report for JLPT/J-TEST/NAT-TEST/STBJ/TOP J/J-cert at pre-intermediate or above; if not passed, original certificate of 150+ hours of Japanese study), Submit 6 photos (4cm×3cm), Submit passport, Submit authentication letter (China and Vietnam applicants only), Submit financial sponsor documents (expense pledge form, proof of funds, proof of funds formation, employment certificate, income/tax certificate, resident record + relationship proof)
