12 or more years of primary and secondary education completed outside Japan or graduation expected before FFLC classes begin, able to pay tuition as well as living and other expenses incurred while studying in Japan, 18 years or older at the time of enrollment, mentally and physically sound and committed to observing the laws of Japan and the rules and regulations of the College, for the Japanese Course: proficiency equivalent to JLPT N5 or better and JLPT N5 certification or equivalent study of 150 hours or more prior to applying for a student visa, for the International Career Course / International Hotel Department / Advanced Study Course: JLPT N2 certification required, students planning to attend graduate school in Japan after graduating from FFLC must have completed 16 years of formal education and graduated from a formal 4-year degree program at a university
