Completion of 12 years of school education or equivalent, 18 years old or above, permitted or expected to be permitted to enter Japan through proper procedures, applicant/parents/guarantor able to bear tuition and living expenses, has a reliable guarantor, sufficiently healthy to continue studies, completed 150 hours or more of Japanese study and has Japanese ability at approximately JLPT N5 level or above, passed the school interview
