Should I make the effort to move to Japan and learn at a Japanese language school?

Hi there, my first time in this subreddit.😅
I have now turned 19, and I always wanted to live in Japan. I worked for a couple of years and saved some money for it, but now that I've grown a bit, I'm starting to realize that it might be a little rash of me to leave my country, family, friends, and everything I know to move to a country that I've never even visited once.
So I'm looking for people who might have done the same thing as I've planned to do; learning enough Japanese to pass the N5 test, saving some money, and moving to Japan first as a student at a Japanese school, then continuing to work there.
Is it very lonely at first? How much money do I need to be able to live comfortably there, and how much of a cultural difference does Japan have compared to more Western countries?
