Hi everyone,
I’m moving to Japan from Germany on a working visa in August/September. I passed the JLPT N3 a few years ago and I’m currently around N2 level. My job itself doesn’t really require Japanese, but I feel like I’m lacking business communication skills, especially things like writing emails, understanding workplace etiquette, and generally navigating Japanese business culture.
Does anyone know any language schools, courses or institutions that specifically teach these kinds of business skills after work hours?
So far, I’ve mostly found full-time programs that combine regular language classes with job hunting support, but that’s not really possible for me since I’ll already be working full-time.
Would love to hear if anyone has personal experience or recommendations!

Don't really have personal recs but there are definitely some courses that offer it specifically ([ISI](https://www.isi-education.com/career-business-japanese-lp), [KAI](https://www.kaij.jp/courses/business/), [ARC ](https://japanese.arc-academy.net/en/business-japanese)among ones that I found). I can't find the info on hours though, some of these definitely seems full time, however it might be possible to find or arrange something online/private. Perhaps also check if you can get individual tutor for a specific matter too.

Thank you for taking the time to research that for me!
I had also looked into ISI, but from what I’ve seen, they mainly seem to offer full-time programs. I’ll definitely check out KAI and ARC Academy and see what kind of opportunities they have.
Looking into individual tutors was also a really good suggestion and something I should definitely look into!

Coto Academy provides lessons for residents, including business Japanese lessons. I don’t know the specifics of what they teach.
